I removed a director and they still hold shares

I resigned him as director but he is still on the shareholding page.

Removing a director does not touch their shareholding, and that is deliberate: someone can resign as a director and keep their shares. Transfer or cancel the shares separately if that is what the resolution says.

The two roles are separate entries, so removing the director only ever touches that one.

The same person appears twice in our register

John is listed twice. Once as a director and once as a shareholder.

It says this UEN already exists

It will not let me add this company, it says the UEN is taken.
